ROSIE LEGACY RED-AND-WHITE POLKADOT BANDANA
A full-sized 27″x27″ cotton bandana as mandated by the Department of the Army in WW2 for Women Ordinance Workeps (WOW).
Large, randomly placed polkadot pattern, which we researched to be just like the one Rosie wore in J. Howard Miller’s famous We Can Do It! poster.
This is a fabric-dyed bandana made exclusively for us. Not screen printed. This means the bandana is an ultra-soft fabric and a joy to wear. 100% cotton.
ROSIE HISTORICALLY ACCURATE COLLAR PIN / EMPLOYMENT BADGE
This is a RosieCentral original–available only from us.
It is based on extensive research into employment badges during WW2, and specifically the Westinghouse Electric factories, which is where J. Howard Miller selected his model for the We Can Do It! poster.
Not a tin button! This is a molded and embossed metal pin that is hand-enameled.
This is a hybrid pin. The center is a black-and-shite photo of Rosie…as she would have looked sitting for her ID photo.
Butterfly clutch fastener.
BE A WENDY — WENDY THE WELDER COSTUME KIT
Wendy the Welder Blue Bandana–A beautiful blue paisley bandana much like factory women wore during WW2
Wendy Iron-on Name Patch–A RosieCentral original patch, beautifully embroidered with silver metallic thread on a blue background. It’s 2″x4″.
Wendy the Welder Employment Button–This is an historically accurate, RosieCentral original based on research on employment ID badges in general and Richmond Shipbuilding Corporation specifically. From this, we designed the basic button and added the image of our original Wendy the Welder figure.
Authentic Welding Goggles–These are bright red welding goggles with glass lenses and a flip-down dark lens shield, which welders use to protect their eyes against sun-bright flames.
ROSIE’S TOESIES — ROSIE THE RIVETER POLKADOT SOCKS
Rosie’s Toesies is a RosieCentral original brand and design.
Women’s socks (9-11) are a finely knit combed cotton with just enough nylon and spandex to ensure socks keep their shape. This is NOT dye sublimation.
We started with lots of Rosie polkadots on socks.
Then we added our iconic Rosie silhouette on the back of each leg with our motto “We Can Do It…Pass It On.” It’s a reminder that it’s the responsibility of every women to pass on Rosie’s legacy of strength and courage.
Finally we topped off our design with a little patriotic blue on the heels, toes and top. It’s the shade of blue on Rosie’s shirt…of course.
ROSIE’S EMBROIDERED NAME PATCH (IRON-ON)
This iron-on name patch is a RosieCentral original design.
The classic name patch just became a Rosie classic.
2″x4″ embroidered patch with red and white polyester threads on a white twill background.
The little white embroidered polkadots are placed randomly on the name…just like the bandana.
ROSIE’S RED-AND-WHITE POLKADOT MUG
Standard size (3-3/16″x3-1/4″) red-and-white polkadot ceramic mug.
Well proportioned, easy to hold and dishwasher-safe.

ROSIE’S DAUGHTERS: THE “FIRST WOMAN TO” GENERATION TELLS ITS STORY
4-time, award-winning breakthrough collective memoir about the generation of women born during WW2. These are the daughters of the iconic Rosie the Riveter.
Rosie’s Daughters tells the story of how this little-studied generation broke through centuries of limitations to take their place in the world and pave the way for future generations of women.
Rosie’s Daughters were the precursors of the Baby Boomers.
They came of age in the 1960s and were both shaped by and an influencer of their times.
Rosie’s Daughters achieved more “firsts” than any group of women before or since, earning them the moniker “First Women To” generation.
